Welp, Konami/4K are still trying to censor Yubel, after all. In image 1, Japanese!Yubel’s lines are mirroring hir lines to Judai when declaring their duel in ep. 153: “[Let us duel…] The anguish and sorrow it forms is what will allow us to understand our love”; image 2 has JP!Yubel saying, “You shall experience what true love is…”
“Show how I care” at least conveys that when you’re talking to Yubel in the OW, but here, they just omit Yubel’s concept of love entirely, just like 4Kids did. I thought we’d be past this…

I just assumed that they wanted to keep the dialogue consistent with the dub versions of the characters. It’s still pretty confusing and annoying whenever even I can tell that the English and Japanese dialogues are so drastically different, but it is what is for better or for worse.
